Hello all.

Just curious.
I've had my rezound for a year and a few months as has my wife.
She complained today about her battery life not being as good as it used to be.

It occurred to me that mine isn't either.
It's easy to take for granted since I'm always near a charger so I don't ever let it drain to far down.

I've always kept my electronics charged fully whenever I can, from DROID 1 to Palm Pilot to rezound.

I know that might not be best for battery longevity, but it's worked for me for many years.

I'm wondering what the general lifespan of a battery should be.

I tested when both the stock battery and the extended battery were new and I got 7 hours and 14 hours respectively with normal use.

Now I've been on the extended battery for not even 3 hours and I'm down to 68 percent remaining.

What say you all?

Thanks
B

Sounds like your batteries are shot. My Nexus battery is the same and I recently replaced it.

Longevity of a standard cell phone battery depends on the user. I think they usually rate it by charge cycles, but if you leave it plugged in past 100% that could shorten the life of it as well.
