battery pull

I bought a galaxy 4 and put a life lock case on it, so the case can't keep going on and off the phone. Is there a combination of buttons to push to simulate a battery pull? My other ohone it was power and volume down, not on this one.

Thanx

Don't think so. My case is very difficult to take off, but still necessary with every update so as to avoid issues. You will still need to do it on every update, which might only be 3-4 more times on the S4 before they stop updating it.

I believe you mean the Lifeproof case? Lifelock is a credit lockdown service. The Lifeproof does look like a PITA to remove, but can it be done without ruining it? Should be able to, or I wouldn't put my phone in it.

Because the battery can be removed from the s4, I don't believe there is a combination of buttons you can push that'll reset it that's equivalent to a battery pull.

If you can't fix it, you should ask someone who can fix to save your phone. My advice: You can buy an external battery to keep your S4 powered. I am the one who like to take a power bank when I go out.

Save the phone? This thread is about doing the equivalent of a one minute battery pull to clear problems after an update, not finding a way to power it. The whole point of the battery pull is to interrupt power.

I looked at other posts from akb48; all of them are promoting those products, but for a different phone.

Yeah, I have to agree with the other posts, since the Samsung has a removable battery that was the only way to do a battery pull. No button sequence.
