HI, am new to this sort of thing....got no answers from the Lenovo Forum/Blog, hoping I will get some advice on here as its an Android device .
I am going to replace my battery in this device as the battery is loosing its charge more often.
The Battery is located in its "flip up" aluminium stand which has to be removed hence it is a non "user" replaceable item, although the Lenovo pdf manual shows it is quite straight forward for those with a semi tech bent !
The question I want to ask is:
After I have removed the power connector from the old battery to the circuit board, and then reconnect the power connector of the new battery to the circuit board, will/should the Tablet fire up in the same way as it would with a moble phone after removing and replacing its battery ?? Can I assume the Android Sytem will keep all its system memory once I remove the power connector ...??
The reason I ask, if it doesn't fire up.....is there a Android procedure I can carry out to get it working after a battery replacement. ??
I have Android 5.0.1 on the Tablet
