I know there are probably plenty of threads on this, but I am on a very slow internet connection and honestly don't have the time to search through thread after thread. With that said, I hope the droid forum community will somehow be able to help me out.

My battery is Rediculous! I took it off the charger around noon at by 3:00 it was on 40%. What app can I Download or get rid of to help me out.

I leave wifi, GPS, sync and bluetooth off almost at all times. I have 5 bars and 3G and have the screen on automatic (trying it compared to being on low all of the time like I used to have it.)

I have JuiceDefender(paid), but I can't figure out how to even see if it is working or not. It has a very poor UI IMO. I also purchased Power manager full version when I first got my droid, and I haven't used it in forever.

I've deleted goggles, C2P, news and weather, amazon, and all that mess that likes to run in the background.

I have set CPU and had profiles enabled running at 250 MHz when low and had it set to change lower as the battery decreased.
I also tried using my friend's battery but his was even worse. I love this phone, but If I can't even text w/o my battery dying then its gay!

Please somebody help! BTW, I am running BB v.04, but it was bad onthe base froyo and 2.1 also.

yea I mean I've looked at it,it just says the display is most of the %

What are the percentages of the other items?

i used to have problems with the battery, but after going to bb.4 it got so much better. i guess i'd see if you have a defective battery. and ya, the screen is always my highest. keep it on the lowest if possible. you could even get an app that takes it lower for when you're in the dark

Well my friends battery drained faster than mine on my phone. what app are you referring to that will help the brightness?

ya, since that happened, i guess i would try a different rom/kernel, some phones handles one better than another.
