Beautiful Widgets Battery Life

for some reason my battery has drained like mad today. i look up the battery use on the menu and it says beautiful widgets 88%. i have used my phone probably about 30 minutes today at most as i am in school. my battery is already in yellow. what can i do to stop this? its on a moto droid

Turn off GPS and Geolocation - and just type in your location.

In addition to the good suggestion about GPS (geolocation is not a big battery consumer), check to see how often you have it updating (every 3 hours should be enough). Also, are you using the BW live wallpaper, if so check the Fps settings, etc.

I use BW with geolocation and it doesn't even show up in my battery status (program usage)

yeah i turned of geolocation and set it to 3 hours and i just update it if im curious lol

Yup the GPS will draw the most with BW. Geolocation shouldn't, but then again I can never get my geolocation to work locally between towns that are 30 minutes apart......so I just use a zipcode.

I have mine set to geolocation and to update every 3 hours. I am also using the BW LWP. Even with that BW is only taking up 2% of my battery usage.
