Hi what's the best gingerbread from for the X?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of now there are none. Only gingerbread themed. This is because the bootloader is locked.

he's right, there are no roms running actual gingerbread due to the locked bootloader. just themes and a couple leaked apps, like the music player.
