Best method for saving everything before factory reset attempt

Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing some serious force close issues on several of my apps. My Facebook, stock Gallery and Wordpress apps will all force close immediately upon trying to start them. On top of that several apps have going missing and when trying to reinstall them (ex: Astro) from the market they won't let me (says insufficient space when I have about 1Gb free).

Anyway I have tried several attempts to fix these problems to no avail and have decided to do a factory reset. I want to make sure that I have everything backed up in the process so that if something does go wrong I can somehow revert back to the not-so-perfect setup I currently have.

Does anybody have a suggestion for the best method of saving everything before doing a factory reset? And also what is the best way to do a factory reset on a rooted D3 still on stock rom?

Thanks in advance,
B
