The Nexus 6 is pretty awesome without modding. However if you are a rom head chances are you don't care how awesome a device is stock. I totally get it. The Nexus 6 has a thriving community with lots of Roms to chose from. Which one is the best? That title could possibly go to Beanstown's rom "Pure Nexus". This rom is based on Android 5.1.1, and is rooted with busy box. The rom is fully compatible with Layers 2.1+. There are several customization options inlcuding Nav bar options, notification panel options, custom quick settings, custom volume rocker options, custom power menu, clock customizations, battery customizations, heads up options, and much more.
