I am wondering if anyone can suggest a place to find some really good desktop backgrounds.

I prefer on the darker side, I am using GO Launcher EX and the ICS theme with it.

Check out the Zedge app in the PlayStore for some downloadable wallpapers to your phone and then you can use the app PicSay to edit to your liking (is like gimp on your phone)...
