Best way to create a new user

When I create a new user it asks me if I want to create it with:

A) Google

B) Backup Assistant

C) Phone Only, unsynced

D) Corporate Sync


I always choose B. I know what C and D are and don't care about those, but between A) Google and B)Backup Assistant, which one is the best one to choose, why, and what is the difference?

Don't they both get backed up? I've had to reload my phone from backup before and it worked flawlessly so I'm hesitant to choose A) Google, but I really don't know the difference between the two and would like to know everyone's opionion as to which one to choose.
