Best way to keep Droid Data organized?

Between Data downloads and graphics and pictures and Message downloads, I feel like I have media spread all over my Droids SD card and internal memory.
Each app seems to put stuff in its own filing system. And when I uninstall apps they all leave remnants behind. this leads to alot of Clutter.

ANy tips that some of you use to avoid this?

Go to the market place and download, "ASTRO" it's a file manager.

Create some folders to store your scattered around stuff in.

+1 for Astro. Even if you don't create folders, it will put certain items in folders for you, or at least help you find them easily with its search feature.
