Best way to move web bookmarks to new phone?

I was told by the verizon guy that I'd have to do it manually, but I have a lot of bookmarks and want to keep them all and do it quickly.... isn't there an easy way to move bookmarks?

I have a Droid Razr Maxx HD... and I'm not a hacker / programmer / techie / etc... keep it simple please.

Are they already in the chrome browser on your phone or are they in a different browser app?

If not in chrome you'll have to import your bookmarks to chrome first. https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2392063?hl=en

Then you need to sign into Chrome with your Gmail account: Open Chrome>Menu>Settings>Sign into Chrome

Once signed into chrome, on the Settings screen under "Basics" tap your email address and on the next window make sure "sync" is enabled

I should add that to get the bookmarks synced with a new device or desktop browser just sign into chrome the same way and it's automagic.

If you use the new Google Sync options to Sync App Data are the bookmarks not included with this?

More than likely, yes, but I wouldn't know firsthand since I haven't used sync app data since my D1 days, having installed TitaniumBackup. But for bookmarks to stay sync'ed between phones and/or desktop chrome, you have to have sync turned on under chrome or google account settings on your phone and signed into your google account for chrome on your desktop.
