I am the last person in my family to switch to Verizon (been holding out for the TB). So my question is, can I add my line with a D1 that is currently under contract on my parents plan? They don't use the phone and don't mind letting me use it til I get my phone and will continue to pay for the D1 on their plan.

Will they get nailed with a termination fee if they are still paying the monthly bill? And will they be able to add it bad to their plan once I get a new phone with no issues?

You should be able to add your line to their plan, I don't know if that warrants any type of penalty especially your minutes would most likely change.

I know that you can break off from a plan with no penalties....

Call verizon...doesn't hurt to ask
