So tonight every other commercial on TV was Bing vs. Google. They want you to go to Bing It On - Take the Bing versus Google Challenge. Would you bet against Bing? and you choose 5 different searches and decide which side you like the results from the best. They give you ideas for trending questions, but I think that would skew your search results because I believe Bing knows that those results would be in Bing's favor.
I chose these 5 searches:
1. IRS Scandal
2. Pittsburgh Penguins
3. Samsung Galaxy S3
4. My local weather forecast
5. Sunspot Cycle
Of the 5 results, I chose Bing for 1 and 3. However, I chose 3 Google results 2, 4, and 5....therefore Google wins.
I'm curious here in O.T. if anyone else wants to do the challenge and see what your results are. I'm partial to Google anyway, but wanted to give this a fair test.
