bionic: battery unreadable

hi im new to the site and im having a problem with my battery, phone isnt reading it and wont charge, wondering if i can get some help. Rooted, was running liberty when i dropped it but it wasnt a bad drop, not one mark so idk, i returned to the previous rom to see if that had something to do with it, not sure which one it was, i believe it was one of the first roms out, has the honeycomb notification bar icons. when plugged into the computer a white light comes on, its dead now.

When you plug it into your PC, does it charge?

No it doesn't, I'm able to get into recovery and do a factory reset when plugged into wall but didn't do anything

There is a high chance you damaged the charge port pulling it away from the main board. When I was a technician, we used to see it all the time. If you have a small electronics technician in the area, you may want to give them a visit.
