Bionic camcorder constantly refocusing

I remember this subject being brought up before but it wasn't until recently that I started using the camcorder more that I realize just how annoying it is. Is there a fix for that coming with our upcoming update or has anyone found a solution for it?

I havent messed with mine very much, and there may be some improvements to be made via OTA's, but at first glance both the still camera and camcorder appear to be very sub par in a device of this level.

Overall I like the Bionic, but some aspects of it seem very rushed on a phone that took this long to drop.

I flipped back and forth about whether or not to keep mine, but finally decided in the past 24 hours to return mine and wait to see what comes out in Q4. Mine is shipping back to VZ on Monday.

Looking for something more polished to last me the next 2 years.

I would say look for a different camcorder app. The built in camera app isn't the greatest. It can work fine if you know how to use it but for the camcorder, I know it can be frustrating.

The camcorder records some great looking video, its just the constant focusing gets a little distracting when its happening constantly.

Sure it does.. at least the paid version does.
