Bionic locking up ?

Has anyone else with the Bionic had the phone just lock up with a pure white screen ? I did a battery pull and everything was fine again, I had it lock up once before when going into the maps app but it just froze up with the home screen on. Btw my phone is bone stock.


Im starting to regret getting this phone, I sure hope the OTA will take care of all these issues.

I'm getting the Black Screen of Death, not white. It's been a while though (knock on wood).

It seems to be expected. On page 53 of the Bionic Manual:

Crash recovery
In the unlikely event that your smartphone stops
responding to touches and key presses, try a quick
reset. Remove the back cover and battery (“Assemble &
charge” on page 3), then replace and switch your
smartphone on as usual.

BTW, on page 55 of the RAZR Manual it says to hold the Power and Volume Down for 10 seconds, so it's not immune to this either.

Oh ya I know about the BSOD on the Bionic, this issue is almost like as if I had lost the OS from the phone.
