Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a shot. When I go to stream netflix on my Bionic, everything looks and sounds perfect. As soon as I try to stream through my BluTooth headset, the audio and video are far out of sync (bad enough to the point that it's not watchable.) After scouring the internet for a while I've found nothing that might help me with this issue. Every time Netflix updates I hope that'll be the one to fix it, but it never does. Anyone else have a similar issue? Might it be worth my time to do a factory reset and see if that fixes anything?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Check to see if it is the same on you tube, because I was looking into adding a bluetooth adapter to my bedroom tv, so that I could watch TV while my wife slept.
Every review I read about the various transmitters said that they were no good for tv because the sound and video were too far out of sync. My guess is that bluetooth takes too long to process so the sound is behind the video.
Not sure if this is the reason, but if you try some other video source and it's the same. Then it's most likely the delay processing the sound.

I've done that already, and it seems like youtube is fine. I suppose this question might be better for a netflix forum than a Bionic forum, but I can't find any other users having the same issue with android, so I figured I'd try here.

Thanks a bunch for your reply!

Are you streaming over WiFi or cellular?

I have the same issue via BT on my Ford Sync system using my Bionic or my wife's Atrix. Either a Netflix thing or a Moto thing.

I notice a lag on my Bionic. I have a BT speaker I use on my laptop. I notice sound lag there too. I assumed it is a BT issue

It basically seems logical that there would be a slight delay with audio going over the air ... but it shouldn't be 'that' noticeable

You would think so; however it's pretty significant and very annoying. Pretty close to a 1 second lag - at least for me.

I use some YouTube vids with BT speakers for training with small to large groups. Most of those vids have short screen time for the speaker, with other images while they are talking. I can get past that lag because you can't tell there is a lag when the speaker is not on screen. But, my lag is noticeable enough that I would not watch a entire movie this way

I just tried some stuff with my Andy android bluetooth speaker. I didn't notice any significant lag.

Maybe it's the quality of bluetooth? I have some Motorola S9 & S10-HDs I'll try.
