Black Notification Bar

Pardon the question if it's already been asked...

I'm a noob root user. I just rooted my original Droid using Super One Click root. I'd like to change my notification bar to a black bar instead of the stock white. Is there a resource available to do this without having to flash a new rom? Also, since I rooted with Super One Click, am I even able to flash a new rom?

If your running an actual custom rom you can flash a theme or on cyanogen you can just select color schemes under tweaks

I guess now is when my noobness shines. With Super One Click, I just clicked "Root", it did it's thing, and I'm now rooted with the super user icon in my tray.

I'm assuming this means that I now have the ability to flash a new rom right? So am I safe to put bugless beast, cyanogen, or something similar?

Not yet. Is this the correct link? ROM Manager - Android app on AppBrain I found it on app brain.

I think I may have to just get a new ROM instead of just a black bar. Seems to be the easiest way.

RomManager is the way to go it will do everything for you so no noob screwups like I had before rom manager! Give cyanogen a run or pick your own but cyanogen is pretty common for most it seems that's what my wifey runs......
