Good evening.
I replaced the touch screen on my Droid Pro xt610 today, put the unit back together, and when I turn it on the LED is black. I hear the "Droid" when the unit is powering up and the four lighted buttons on the bottom of the touch screen light up as does the keyboard but the screen stays black. I called the phone from home and it rings but I didn't try to answer.
I had some problem getting the ribbon connector for the LED to connect but seemed to get a good connection when I slid it on rather than trying to gently press it on.
Any tricks to make sure that connection is secure or other thoughts as to why the LED isn't working would be appreciated. By the way, I dropped the phone about two months ago and it's worked fine with a cracked screen.
Thanks.
