Blackberry. desktop mngr sync help

I had been using blackberry for years and syncing my calendar to it for years but I got the droid 2 yesterday. I need help getting my calendar from desktop manager to my droid phone. Neither motorola or verizon could help me.

I'm not too familiar with the desktop manager, but does it give you an option to export it since Google Calendar does accept import?

Alternatively, I found How to Sync your Google Calendar and Contacts with Your Compter and Blackberry | eHow.com which is how to keep it all on the Blackberry, but does show how to get Google Calendar to communicate with Desktop Manager. Once that occurs, anything on Google Calendar will synchronize with the phone, assuming its all using the same account of course.
