BlackDroid Mod Issues Can't Figure Out

So probably a bad idea to be new at this, but one of the guys I work with modded my Motorola Droid. Everything worked perfectly until the ClockWorkMod wanted an update, My font got changed, the update went through but now the font is hard to read and I can't change it or uninstall anything. When I go to flash clockwork mod into recovery I get error "an error occurred while attempting to run priveldged commands" When I reboot into recovery I get nothing, and all other lines are blacked out. If anybody could help me get it back to before or even back to stock

If u think u really have to go back to when u first got ur phone out the box:

Im thinking maybe he installed a 2.0.1 ROM, and him, u or someone updated your phone to the official 2.1. If thats what happened, definitely see the link I posted. Check in About Phone to see whats installed. (I dont have my phone so I dont the name of the actual settings to look in. )

If u are still rooted u can try to restore the nand and ROM. But....we need to find out if u are still rooted or not. Hey, can the Fix Permissions part stll be used? Try that first to see if that fixes anything.

Thos guys are the Pros at helping with "mixed" ROM/Recovery/Manager issues.

Ok don't worry about the sbf just yet. Your phone works so we can work with it.

What ROM are you running right now?
Did you or your friend ever make a backup?
