blank screen during making call

After dialing call screen quickely goes blank?i can not add other # for long distance call.

Check proximity sensor

There is a sensor in the top left of the screen that when covered by a finger or thumb or whatever, it blanks the screen. Make sure your not covering it up.

Yeah I'd say you're just covering the speaker....it does this so you won't hit button with your face

If you don't want the screen to go black during a call download Screebl from the Market. It will also keep your phone from timing out when its in use.

I am glad that you figured out an application to correct this issue, but why should I have to buy an application to fix a bug. Shouldn't Verizon buy this fix from you, and distribute it through a new release?

sandra its not a bug its an added feature to prevent people from accidently pressing buttons with there face
