Bletooth controls start up 2 music applications?

I got a Motorola S-9 today and I was using Mix zing to play the music when I use the play or skip button it starts up the music app that came on the phone so I hear both playing. This happen to anyone? Any ideas how to diable the native app or designate another music player? If there is another thread on this let me know ,I couldn't find it with search

make sure you kill the default music app. It will be controlled thru bluetooth by default, so if it is running in the background it will be controlled whether you are looking at it or not. Mixzing has a setting to use BT or not. I turned it off because I like to play pandora in the car and Mixzing was interfering with Pandora controls.

Is there a way to prevent the Droid music player from auto-starting when a Bluetooth connection is made?

Or do you have to manually shut it down every time a BT connection is made?
