BlindType, how the hell?

If you haven't already seen it, youtube 'blindtype' and watch demo 1 and 2. How the hell does the software work? At one point he typed something like 'ghhhhhhh' and it knew he was trying to type 'accuracy'. If the keyboard is even half as good as the video demos, there would literally never be a need for a physical keyboard on a phone again, and I am the biggest supporter of the kb on the droid, I use it exclusively. It almost seems too good to be true though. Any insight on if this is legit? Would be easy to make an app look good for a video imo. It literally didn't mess up one letter.

by judging the space and geometric angles between your missed "key strokes" it can determine what word you were trying to type based on how far apart your key strokes are and the different angles they are at. connecting the dots it compares it to words in its dictionary and their geometric angles and distances pre-installed in its dictionary. That would be my guess since I have thought about this concept before and this looks like it is utilizing it.
