Hey all,
Just bought a Droid phone coming from iPhone. I looked through the threads and couldn't find someone with my issue, so I am posting new thread. Question is how do I get my phone to link with car stereo while screen is locked?
Tech stuff to help avoid a ton of questions:
Other phones work
My new droid does work, but I have to unlock screen before it syncs up to stereo
Already checked the Bluetooth bypass- but that is mainly for actual phone use.
Phone functions will work without unlocking, but music won't
Basically, I usually have my phone in a pocket or backpack and want to be able to listen to my music with having to go retrieve it and unlock the screen. Once the screen is unlocked, it works fine. Other phones I had (iPhone and Incredible) you didn't have to unlock screen first, it would automatically sync up once car was turned on. On my car Stereo it reads "no connection" until I actually unlock screen, then works fine.
I am sure this is some sort of security feature, but wondering if I can bypass it?
Thanks
