Bluetooth with tb

When using Bluetooth for gps nav it always skips first word. Does anyone know why or have a fix.

My D1 has done that from day 1. Doesn't do it every single time, but does it more often than not.


By every single time I mean every time it "speaks". It always happens when bt is being used.

I use vlingo and it has a delay adjustment. I believe that it's intended to correct this issue by giving the speaker time to activate first. I can't remember if the delay works during GPS navigation because you exit vlingo when starting Google Maps.

Thanks for the info. I'll check out vlingo.

The lag really has not been a big problem for me... so far, that is! I can imagine scenarios where it can cause a missed turn in a complicated intersection though.

Seems odd though that there isn't a way to deal with this in the basic settings... any test lasting longer than 5 minutes with a bt earpiece should have unearthed this issue. So it goes.

Still having same problem but it seems a little better at times. Also with Bluetooth phone is understanding voice commands better for voice dialing. Maybe recent update helped.
