Blurry Screenshots - GS3

I found a couple threads regarding blurry screenshots for galaxy s3, but they are a year old and of no help. When I take a screenshot with my phone (swiping my hand from left to right AND when I hold the power and home buttons at the same time), the picture looks fine until I text it to someone. It doesn't matter if I use Go SMS or my stock messaging app. It didn't always do this and I was wondering if anyone has any new suggestions for this problem?

Text messages usually compress images before sending. The screenshots must not be getting the good end of the procedure. Try emailing them to the recipients text email address. Varies by carrier, but something like ##########@vzwpix.com (verizon) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_SMS_gateways maybe this will help.
