Botifier Brings Your Notifications Over Bluetooth!

There is a big push nationwide to put a stop to texting while driving, and for good reason. Some states have even made the practice illegal, and are beginning to hand out fines for distracted driving for those who refuse to put down the phone and drive. When your device is within reach and you hear it buzz or ding and see that bright notification light, it can be pretty hard not to grab it and at least check out the notification. We all want to make sure no one is trying to contact us with an emergency, and some of us are just to addicted to technology to let one notification go unnoticed.

A new app "Botifier" seeks to remedy this predicament. Botifier uses bluetooth to send your notifications to your car stereo via AVRCP technology. The app name will show up as artist, notification summary shows up as album, and you can show the full notification text as the track title. You can use the previous and next track buttons to view multiple notifications. Head to the source link for more info on this app.

Neat idea, but I fail to see the logic. You just replace the phone with the radio and still have the same distraction.
