Brand New Motorola Droid not activated

I just purchased a new Motorola Droid and I have not activated it yet. Before switching from my flip phone I want to play around with it using my wireless access at home but can not see how to do that without activating it. Is it possible to do or do I have to root it? I am thinking about rooting it anyways.

I don't think you can do anything without activating it. :shocked: But welcome to the forum anyway, deang!

Why wait? Activate...and don't worry about rooting the phone first thing. Learn the phone first is my recommendation.

Yes u can. Search for tapping the 4 corners, it will get you past activation.
