Brightness hack?

I was wondering if there is a file I could easily alter that is used to calculate brightness.

The brightness is fine during the day but at night, I find myself putting it in manual mode and dropping it all the way down.

I was "hoping" the light sensor read some type of data file I could alter values in.

I've been using a little brightness.apk that jinx10000 created since I had my Droid, and it works just fine on the Droid X too.

I turn it on when I put my phone on the dock at night, and after doing that and then hitting the low brightness icon on the phone (when in dock mode), you can barely even see it. It's great!

Attaching the file to this post. Download, install & enjoy!
