Bring the notification swipe gesture from Pixel to 6P (No root required)

Update:

Been using it more today and did not have any issues. The issues early were probably user error. I'll continue to use it and give you guys updates.

At this point, I think it's a cool little added feature, but I don't see myself NEEDING it. I'll keep an eye here for your updates though. Maybe I'll play around with it at some point. Wondering how/if it'll affect battery life, polling the scanner to see if you're doing gestures on it.

Seeing this story was starting to get some traction in the community I just started a thread on it. But whether it is "needed" or not is not a reason for Google to leave it out, especially when the excuse was hardware and later it turns out the hardware is the same.

I don't buy the BS he was stating in that article ....it's always some excuse so they don't have to support older phones ...I know we can get them ourselves on Nexus devices but just irritating [emoji34]

Exactly, Google know the only reason those of us that care buy Nexus is so we can get the iPhone like support in android. The day that goes out the window will be the day I go back to the fruit.
