Broken Rooted Eris

The trackball on my rooted Froyo Eris keeps popping out. I have insurance, and was wondering if verizon will still replace my phone even though I rooted it. Any advice?

not sure if there is an sbf floating around for the eris but if so find it and flash back to stock. then you should be good
