Broken Screen but phone still beeps at me... Need a hack

I have a Droid Razr with a shattered screen. Touch screen is completely black and probably unresponsive... The phone can charge, turn on, and even beep at me when I get a facebook notification. The phone is pattern protected at the moment.

I'm trying to find a way to access the phone via my laptop or another Droid Razr. When I plug the phone in all the thing does is charge. I know this because my new Droid Razr charges when I plug it in to the computer.

If anyone can help or needs additional info let me know, greatly appreciated!
