Menu>applications>manage applications>all (tab at top) scroll to your browser and select it. Select force stop and see if that helps it. If not, same procedure then once it's open tap on clear cache then clear data. Should help you. Good luck!
Is it the stock browser? I only know a couple tricks with an unrooted phone. The first is to go to menu/settings/manage applications/all/browser/clear data. If that doesn't help, and I doubt it will, you could try a Factory Reset. I know that's a little drastic as a Factory Reset is a pain due to having to setup everything again, but if you are desperate.... If you want to avoid the Factory Reset you could simply switch to one of the replacement browsers in the market. Dolphin HD works great. So does xScope. The newly release Opera browsers work well. The Opera Mini works off of an Opera website/proxy sort of thing that really saves on 3G data downloads if that interests you. The other Opera browser works just like all the other browsers.
I've had the Dolphin HD for a week and like it a alot. I'm stilling getting used to it but really like the side pull out "bookmarks," the top "tabs" for webpages, and seems a bit quicker.
