Buddy's phone's touch screen locks up/freezes

My friend just got a Bionic a couple of days ago and his touch screen is locking up on him. I had him try a battery pull and make sure the battery manager is set to performance but the problem persists. He is not rooted. Any other ideas on what to try? Thanks

what to try?
take it to VZW and swap it out.
I wouldnt even waste time trying to tech it out since he's in the 14 days.

I just had my Bionic screen freeze up on me. I went to turn the screen on (it was idol) and it wouldn't come on. Had to battery pull. Hoping it's just a fluke.

It has happened to me like 4 times. Very annoying!
