The low-priced iteration of the Moto X called the Moto DVX, just went through an FCC recertification. The device just went back in for a revised Permissive Change filing with the FCC. Some new pics and docs appeared of the device after this process. Supposedly the device went back for a recert to add compatibility with advanced hearing aids. As you can see from the pics, the device is almost identical in appearance to the Moto X, although the general shape and positioning of the camera seems to suggest it might be a tad bit smaller.
The device is only certified for GSM 850/1900 bands. This is basically a 3G-only phone which will work on AT&T and most international carriers. This suggests the device may never see the light of day in the United States and is likely meant only for emerging markets. This is hardly surprising considering its rumored $200 off contract pricing. There is still no word on any of the other specs of the device, but will keep you posted when we find out more.
