Built-in Video Player?

Is it just me, or does the Droid not have a pre-installed video player? I put some avi files on my sdcard and was going to see how they played on the Droid, but I can't figure out how to open them.

Download "Video Player" from the market.

It does not come with one and it was discussed when the G1 came out.
