Buying a second hand phone - ebay vs craigslist?

Thinking about buying a DX. Where do you think I'm better off buying it, craigslist or ebay? I'm less concerned about price as I am with getting a good phone. Craiglist you can see the phone in person before you ultimately buy it, but once the deal is done thats pretty much it. With ebay, you don't get to see it, but you're covered for 45 days in case you get ripped off.

Who's had experience with this kind of stuff? What do you think?

Done both, never had an issue. But you have to be SMART about it either way.

Same here as above. Pay CLOSE attention to the details either way. Very easy to get ripped off. One tool at your disposal is to verify the ESN with Verizon prior to purchase.

yea if I go the cl route, I plan on doing the deal at a verizon store so I can have vzw check it out and activate it on the spot before i hand any money over.
