Cache?

What is cache? Might be a stupid question but i downloaded slacker radio and I can add stations to cache and I don't know wat it is, I also wondered what I was clearing in my browser settings

Hmm, cache means different things for what you mean by it. In all I believe it is basically a holding cell for random data to be used in the moment. For example your computers web browser keeps a cache of images and files from when you are surfing on the net... in this case however I think Slacker is just asking if you want to store certain stations in memory... as for your browser cache, thats just clearing out random data... its good to clear from time to time...
