Calendar not completely syncing

I've been having a problem with the calendar. If I add or change an event on the Thunderbolt, it changes on Google calendar. If the change or addition originates with Google Calendar, the change is not updated on the Thunderbolt. It's very frustrating. The whole appeal of an Android phone is that my Google Contacts and Calendars will sync across. That is not happening. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am having a similar problem with my sync. I am using Outlook 2007. I just got the phone last Saturday and am coming from a bb. It synced the first time, but won't since then. I've looked for an answer in various places, can't find a solution.
