Calendar problems?

Overall, I love my Droid and have few complaints.

The most frustrating aspect of the device for me is the stock calendar. I find it to be extremely unstable, very slow, long lags, etc... on a daily basis. Almost all of the forced restarts I've done were because of the calendar not functioning properly.

Have others experienced similar issues? If so, is there any fix?

Also, are there any alternative apps out there that will synch with Google Calendar on my laptop?

also looking for calendar app

I have been trying to find an app that would allow me to sync my phone with Outlook. Not just email, but contacts, calendar, tasks, notes - the whole shebang.

Touchdown was suggested to me, but I can't seem to get it set correctly. It currently is telling me that "Activesync support not found"

Has anyone either been successful with this app or know of another app that will do what I need:icon_question:

Any help would be most appreciated, thanks

Look on the right side, there is a small add from a sponsor who says you can do all these things. I'm not sure what the cost is, I know it's not cheap.
