Calendar Reminder

I am new to the smart phone and have a question about the reminder for appointments in the calendar.

I have a number of appointments set-up and for each one I have a reminder set to go off anywhere from 15 - 60 minutes before the event.
On my other phone (LG Voyager) when the alarm/reminder went off, if I did not turn it off, it would go off again after a couple minutes.

Can this also be set this way on the Droid 2 Global phone and if so how?

Check for an app called 'calendar snooze' on market, it will fill up this gap of missing functionality.

I was reading on this app, that droid 2 and droid x users have to disable speech in the settings for this to work. This is version 2.05.... do you know if this has been corrected?
