Calendar widget displays yesterday's date

I put the calendar widget on the home screen, and it always lists yesterday's date until about mid morning. It's currently 9:15 a.m. EST on Sunday February 21, 2010, but the top of the calendar widget says "SAT 20." If I open the widget and use the Menu\Today selection it jumps to today, but the widget itself won't. Eventually, it will recognize the currently day (mid-morning or so). Anybody experience this? And I'm not interested in buying a calendar app as a replacement.

you might want to try android agenda widget.it's free....not sure why you're having a problem.
