Calibrate touchscreen?

Does the Razr screen need to be calibrated occasionally? Everything works fine except the Swype keyboard... now messing up constantly. When I go to make a correction, the pointer is way off. And the dictionary suggestions are completely f'd up, no relation to what I typed and nowhere near as good as they used to be.

Are you plugged in when this happens? And maybe plugged in with a charger rusty isn't the original RAZR charger? Mine does this if I'm plugged in to certain chargers like my old lg charger
