Call recipients can't hear me

Razr Maxx. Jellybean. 3rd replacement phone.

So my "like new" razr has something within that makes it hard for people I call to hear me.

So I've troubleshot:
Cell phone signal issues-No. Same problem nationwide with different cell towers (I travel for work).
Other persons phone? No. Cell, landline, or carrier makes no difference.
Privacy setting changed. No help.
Sound Hound app. No help.
Like new phone with blocked mic. holes? No.

Sunspot activity. Why not?

Any other ideas to help, please chime in.
