Call recorder

I just got the thunder rom today and so far it has been amazing.

Only one thing confusing me. Every time I name a phone call at the beginning or end there's a message that pops out saying call recorder has been given super user permissions.

My phone has been rooted for a while and it never said that. Do I have some setting where my phone calls are being recorded or something?

open your apps and there is "call recorder" press menu once you open this app and uncheck the call recorder. This app that comes with your Rom records all your phone calls.

Has anyone found a call recorder that works on the bionic? I have tried 2 different apps and neither of them work.

the 2 that I had tried were "record my call" and "auto call recorder" the first had a recording saved the length of the call with no audio. the second would save a 1 second file for each call. I went through all the settings and didnt find anything that could be set to cause this. any help?

You do know that it the US it is a violation of federal law to record a telephone conversation? That is unless you either announce that you are doing so or a beep is iserted ever X seconds. Plus there are numerest state laws against doing so.

Pennsylvania law says that only 1 person in the conversation has to allow it to be recorded. that 1 person is me, your are not allowd to record any conversations between other people, unless of chorse 1 of them gives you permission. any way does anyone out there know of any app that work?

No app that I've been able to get to work.... once the phone call starts, the recording goes dark...this is a Moto thing because my TBolt could record phone calls even while the phone was in sleep mode....

As for laws about recording phone calls...if it were completely illegal to record others during calls, don't you think that Mel Gibson would still be considered a 'Sane' person...lol...

The wife recorded phone call with her ex. She was told to do so from her attorney. And they were all used in court.
