Calwidget and Google Calendar

I hate this with a passion, where I have to jump through burning hoops to get a calendar to function properly on my Droid. How the ? do get Calwidget and Google Calendar to Marriage? I need a step by step instructions otherwise I will get lost. Thank you everyone.

I was using cal for a while but then bought the pure cal because calwidget would randomly set the calendar to 1969.

I'm told there will be a new calendar app soon that doesn't use the crappy google calendar at all. I'm patiently waiting. Soon I may be returning to BB if something doesn't surface.

I assume you went into the config screen for Calwidget and selected "Google" under "Calendars"?

I loaded Calwidget about 3 days ago and it works perfectly with Google calendar.

I don't use calwidget and I get the 1969 thing. Frustrating...

Yes, I set the calendar to google calendar. Still get the 1969 crap. Google definitely should have outsourced the calendar function to another firm.
