Camera experience and input!

Hi I am a new memeber... I am looking for information and experience with the camera. Have read so many articles online about it being awful.
The time it takes to load up mainly. What are your experiences on this?
And if it is software related, has there been an update. Thank you.....

First welcome to the forum. Glad to have you on board.

I personally don't have a problem with the camera, but I'd be lying if I said there isn't an issue. The main problem now seems to be with taking pictures in the dark and the quality of color delivered by those pictures.

They already have done one update for the camera. Hopefully more are on the way. Google seems to want to make things right with the Droid, they appear IMHO to be very proactive in putting things in place. We are waiting right now for an upgrade to 2.1 but we are not sure when we will get it and I don't know if it addresses the camera issues.
