Camera focusing in the night

How do I help my poor Bionic, focus in the dark? It doesn't seem to know where to focus, and almost every single picture is soo blurry. When I had my original DROID it was waaay easier. Help??

I turn off auto focus at night. Problem with that is you have to hold the device very very still.
